2.U. A RESOLUTION CONDEMNING THE RECENT ATTACKS ON\nISRAEL AND STANDING IN SOLIDARITY WITH ISRAEL AND\nITS PEOPLE [L. MEISTER, Y. QUARKER, H. MOLINA, J. DEL\nTORO]:\nThe City Council will consider adopting a Resolution condemning\nthe recent attacks on Israel and standing in solidarity with Israel\nand its people.\nRECOMMENDATIONS: 1) Adopt Resolution No. 23-________, "A\nRESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST\nHOLLYWOOD CONDEMNING THE RECENT ATTACKS ON\nISRAEL AND STANDING IN SOLIDARITY WITH ISRAEL AND ITS\nPEOPLE"; 2) Direct staff to send a letter with copy of the adopted\nResolution to President Joseph R. Biden and the Secretary of the\nUnited States Department of State, Anthony Blinken. In addition,\ndirect staff to distribute copies of the letter and adopted Resolution\nto U.S. Senators Alex Padilla and Laphonza Butler, U.S.\nRepresentative Adam Schiff, State Senator Ben Allen, and\nAssemblymember Rick Chavez Zbur, and other parties as deemed\nappropriate; and 3) Direct the Field & Facilities Division to light the\nCity Hall Third Floor Breakroom windows in Blue through the end of\nthe month.\nSTAFF REPORT
