7. AWARD CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT FOR SLURRY SEAL PROJECT\nFOR NON-ARTERIAL STREETS, ZONE A (PW2022-05A) AND LAKE\nFOREST SPORTS PARK PARKING LOT (24P15)\nRECOMMENDED ACTION: 1. Approve contract documents for construction\nof Slurry Seal Project for Non-Arterial Streets, Zone A (PW 2022-05A) and\nLake Forest Sports Park Parking Lot (24P15). 2. Adopt a Resolution\nentitled: A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKE\nFOREST, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING THE 2023-2030 CAPITAL\nIMPROVEMENT PLAN; AMENDING THE APPROPRIATIONS FOR\nFISCAL YEAR 2023-24. 3. Award a contract in the amount of\n$1,401,467.50 to American Asphalt South, Inc. 4. Reject all other bids\nreceived and authorize return of the bid bonds upon receipt of the executed\ncontract documents from American Asphalt South, Inc. 5. Authorize the\nMayor to sign, and the City Clerk to attest the contract with American\nAsphalt South, Inc.
