RESOLUTION NO. 23-64 APPROVING A REQUEST FOR TEMPORARY\nSTREET CLOSURE ON THE 800 BLOCK OF COMMERCIAL AVENUE\nThe Public Works Department received a request from Jason De La Torre,\nowner of the property located at 864 Commercial Avenue, for a temporary\nstreet closure. The purpose of this request is to hold a private event on\nSaturday, November 11, 2023, on the 800 block of Commercial Avenue from\n2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Ogopogo has had multiple prior street closure events;\nthe City has not experienced any significant adverse issues from those prior\nevents. There is no fiscal impact related to this item.\nCalifornia Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) Determination: Not a Project as\ndefined in Section 15378 of the State CEQA Guidelines.\nRecommended Action:\nStaff recommends that the City Council adopt Resolution No. 23-64\nauthorizing closure on the 800 block of Commercial Avenue from South\nGladys Avenue to the end of the cul-de-sac from 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. on\nSaturday November 11, 2023.
