FISCAL YEAR 2022-23 YEAR-END APPROPRIATION ADJUSTMENTS\nAs the City’s Fiscal Year 2022-23 financial books are being closed, it becomes\nnecessary to make budget adjustments prior to the forthcoming audit. These\nadjustments are necessary to allocate additional funds to general fund\ndepartments or other funds that have surpassed their initially-allocated or\namended budgets. These budget adjustments may involve transferring\nappropriations between general fund departments or appropriating funds to\na fund that has exceeded is budgeted appropriations. General fund\ndepartments and funds that exceed approved budgets are disclosed in\naudited financial statements.\nCalifornia Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) Determination: Not a Project as\ndefined in Section 15378 of the State CEQA Guidelines.\nRecommended Action:\nStaff recommends that the City Council adopt Resolution No. 23-66\napproving proposed amendments to the annual budget for Fiscal Year 2022-\n23.
