Adopt the attached resolution authorizing the necessary budget amendments:\nRESOLUTION NO. 2023-78 - A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY\nOF WEST COVINA, CALIFORNIA, ADOPTING A BUDGET AMENDMENT FOR THE\nFISCAL YEAR COMMENCING JULY 1, 2023 AND ENDING JUNE 30, 2024 (2023-2024\nOFFICE OF TRAFFIC SAFETY GRANT)\nPUBLIC SERVICES\n8) CONSIDERATION OF A MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING WITH THE LOS ANGELES\nCOUNTY METROPOLITAN TRANSPORTATION AUTHORITY (LACMTA) FOR\nCOLLECTING AND REPORTING DATA FOR THE NATIONAL TRANSIT DATABASE\nIt is recommended that the City Council authorize the Acting City Manager to enter into a\nMemorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Los Angeles County Metropolitan\nTransportation Authority (LACMTA) for collecting and reporting data for the National Transit\nDatabase (NTD), in substantially the form as attached and in such final form as approved by\nthe City Attorney.
