Item No. 19. 2023-0620 CONSIDER APPROVAL OF AMENDMENT NO. 5 TO\nTHE AGREEMENT FOR ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICES\nWITH PRINCIPAL LIFE INSURANCE COMPANY FOR\nADMINISTRATION OF THE CITY OF CARSON\nSELF-INSURED DENTAL PLAN AGREEMENT (CITY\nCOUNCIL)\nRecommendation: 1. WAIVE the formal bidding procedures as defined by the Carson\nMunicipal Code (CMC) Section 2610, pursuant to CMC Section\n2611(i)(4).\n2. APPROVE Amendment No. 5 to the Agreement, extending the\nterm expiration date of the Agreement from November 1, 2023, to\nNovember 1, 2026, at existing fee rates (Exhibit 6; "Amendment\nNo. 5").\n2.
