Strategic Initiatives – Approving Job Classifications and Amending the Salary\nSchedule p. 204\nRecommendation:\nIt is recommended that the Mayor and City Council of the City of San Bernardino, California\nadopt Resolution No. 2023­157:\n1. Establishing the Park Ranger Supervisor classification;\n2. Establishing the Park Ranger classification;\n3. Establishing the Ombudsperson classification;\n4. Establishing the Legislative & Governmental Affairs Manager (U) classification;\n5. Establishing the Deputy Director of Animal Services (U) classification;\n6. Establishing the Veterinary Assistant classification;\n7. Amending the salary for Deputy Director of Parks, Recreations and Community Services\n(U);\n8. Amending the salary for Police Personnel & Training Technician;\n9. Retitling the Agency Directors classifications; and\n10. Amending the City­wide salary schedule for full­time, part­time, temporary, and seasonal\npositions.
