8. AWARD OF PROFESSION SERVICES AGREEMENT FOR SECURITY GUARD\nSERVICES FOR THE BELL GARDENS SPORTS CENTER, VETERANS PARK AND CITY\nHALL PARKING LOT\nAdoption of resolution and award of professional services agreement with American Global\nSecurity for the Bell Gardens Sports Center, Veterans Park and City Hall Parking Lot security\nguard services.\nRecommendation:\nIt is staff's recommendation that the City Council:\n1. Adopt the attached resolution; and\n2. Authorize the City Manager to execute a Professional Services Agreement for security guard\nservices with American Global Security, for a three-year term with the option of two one-year\nyear extensions and subject to approval by the City Attorney.
