NIB: 2023 ALLEY REHABILITATION PROJECT (AREA A / PHASE I) – F2M23-67,\nN2M23-126\nThe 2023 Alley Rehabilitation Project consists of 8 alley segments, with an additional 2\nalley segments for alternate bids within City boundaries. The alley segments are\ncategorized as failed condition. Staff has prepared specifications for distribution to\nqualified firms to submit proposals for the preparation of PS&E documents. The project is\nlocated between Ethel Avenue on the West, Valley Boulevard on the South, Atlantic\nBoulevard on the East, and Front Street on the North. The exact location of the project is\noutlined in the staff report.\nRecommended Action: City Council authorize the circulation of a Notice Inviting\nBids to prospective contractors for the 2023 Alley Rehabilitation Project (Area A / Phase\nI) with bids due no later than 10:30 a.m. on November 16, 2023; and, direct staff to\nundertake the steps necessary to finalize Council’s action.
