1. RE-NOMINATION TO THE LOS ANGELES COUNTY EXECUTIVE\nCOMMITTEE ON HOMELESSNESS - At the regular City Council meeting on\nSeptember 12, 2023, the City Council nominated Mayor Pro Tem Smyth to serve on the\nLos Angeles County Executive Committee on Homelessness. However, upon further\nreview of the position and existing obligations, Mayor Pro Tem Smyth has requested that\nthe City Council consider someone else from the City Council to serve on the Committee.\nRECOMMENDED ACTION:\nCity Council discuss and recommend a new member of the City Council to serve on the\nLos Angeles County Executive Committee on Homelessness.
