5. LANDSCAPE MAINTENANCE CONTRACTS FOR LMD ZONES T-68, T-69 -\nCity Council consideration to award contracts to Marina Landscape Services, Inc., to\nprovide recurring landscape maintenance services for LMD Zones T-68 (West Creek)\nand T-69 (West Hills).\nRECOMMENDED ACTION:\nCity Council:\n1. Award a two-year contract to Marina Landscape Services, Inc. to provide landscape\nmaintenance services for Landscape Maintenance Districts Zone T-68 West Creek,\nand, if necessary, other zones for which they are under contract, for a total two-year\namount not to exceed $169,686.\n2. Award a two-year contract to Marina Landscape Services, Inc. to provide landscape\nmaintenance services for Landscape Maintenance District Zone T-69 West Hills, and,\nif necessary, other zones for which they are under contract, for a total two-year\namount not to exceed $708,872.\n3. Authorize the City Manager or designee to execute up to three additional one-year\nrenewal options beginning in year three for both contracts, not to exceed the annual\ncontract amounts, inclusive of as-needed expenditure authority, plus an adjustment in\ncompensation consistent with the appropriate Consumer Price Index, upon request of\nthe contractor, and contingent upon the appropriation of funds by the City Council in\nthe annual budget for such fiscal year.\n4. Authorize the City Manager or designee to execute all contracts and associated\ndocuments, subject to City Attorney approval.\n5. Appropriate an ongoing budget for $7,588 from the Landscape Maintenance District\nFund Balance (Fund 357) to expenditure account 3572463-516110 (West Creek) and\n$34,787 to expenditure account 3572462-516110 (West Hills).
