PUBLIC HEARING - PUBLIC HEARINGS FOR COMMUNITY FACILITIES DISTRICT NO.\n2018-1 (BEDFORD) ANNEXATION NO. 1 PROCEEDINGS FOR IMPROVEMENT AREA NO.\n3 AND IMPROVEMENT AREA NO. 4 THEREIN AND CHANGE PROCEEDINGS FOR\nIMPROVEMENT AREA NO. 3 AND IMPROVEMENT AREA NO. 4; CONDUCTING AN\nELECTION AND CONSIDER ADOPTION OF RESOLUTIONS AND OTHER OFFICIAL\nACTIONS TO ANNEX PROPERTY TO AND CHANGE PROCEEDINGS\nThat the City Council:\na. Adopt Resolution No. 2023-107 calling a special election and submitting to the\nqualified electors of territory proposed to be annexed to Improvement Area No.\n3 and Improvement Area No. 4 of CFD No. 2018-1 (Bedford) of the City of\nCorona the question of levying special taxes within that territory (Annexation No.\n1).\nb. Adopt Resolution No. 2023-108 declaring the results of a special election in\nImprovement Area No. 3 and Improvement Area No. 4. Improvement Area No. 3\nand Improvement Area No. 4 of CFD No. 2018-1 (Bedford) of the City of Corona,\ndetermining that the territory proposed to be annexed is added to and part of\nsaid community facilities district with full legal effect, and ordering the recording\nof a map of the boundaries of said community facilities district including the\nterritory annexed thereto (Annexation No. 1).\nc. Adopt Resolution No. 2023-110 calling a special election and submitting to the\nvoters of CFD No. 2018-1 (Bedford) of the City of Corona the propositions of (i)\nwhether the amount of the authorized bonded indebtedness of Improvement\nArea No. 3 of said community facilities district should be increased from\n$25,000,000 to $37,000,000 and (ii) whether the rate and method of\napportionment of special tax for Improvement Area No. 3 and Improvement Area\nNo. 4 of said community facilities district should be revised.\nd. Adopt Resolution No. 2023-109 determining the necessity for Improvement Area\nNo. 3 of CFD No. 2018-1 (Bedford) of the City of Corona to incur an increase in\nthe bonded indebtedness and that the rate and method of apportionment of\nspecial tax for Improvement Area No. 3 and Improvement Area No. 4 be revised\nand calling a special election on a proposition for incurring such bonded\nindebtedness.\ne. Adopt Resolution No. 2023-111 declaring the results of the consolidated special\nelections within CFD No. 2018-1 (Bedford) of the City of Corona on propositions\nregarding (i) Improvement Area No. 3 of said community facilities district\nAgenda\nincurring a bonded indebtedness in an aggregate principal amount not to exceed\n$37,000,000 for providing public facilities and (ii) revising the rate and method\napportionment of special tax of Improvement Area No. 3 And Improvement Area\nNo. 4 of the community facilities district.\nf. Conduct the first reading of Ordinance No. 3384 authorizing the levy of special\ntaxes in a community facilities district, including certain annexed territory\nidentified as Annexation No 1, into Improvement Area No. 3 And Improvement\nArea No. 4 of CFD No. 2018-1 (Bedford) of the City of Corona.\ng. Conduct the first reading of Ordinance No. 3385 levying special taxes.
