3. Approve Change Orders for Stance Construction and the Authorize\nAdditional Work by San Gabriel Valley Water Company as Part of City\nProject CIP No. 22-040 - Calino Avenue Improvements\nIt is recommended that the City Council:\n1. Authorize and approve the additional work for the proposal from\nStance Construction Company in the amount of $40,703.78 to add\n265 linear feet of 8” sewer line; and,\n2. Authorize and approve payment for the change order from Stance\nConstruction Company in a not-to-exceed amount of $34,410.97 for\nincurred costs on rental equipment and insurance during the project\nsuspension period; and,\n3. Approve added work for the proposal in the form of a deposit in a\nnot-to-exceed amount of $65,000.00 from the San Gabriel Valley\nWater Company for relocation of an existing domestic water line;\nand,\nA. Authorize the Director of Finance to appropriate $45,000.00 from\nFund No. 275 and to make the necessary budget adjustments; and,\n5. Authorize the Director of Public Works to execute contract change\norders for the additional work and suspended project incurred fees\nwith Stance Construction Company using approved project\ncontingency and appropriations.\nSTAFF REPORT
