6.E. SPONSORSHIP OF SCREENING AND PANEL DISCUSSION OF\nTHE DOCUMENTARY "SHEPHERD: THE STORY OF A JEWISH\nDOG" [L. MEISTER, Y. QUARKER, H. MOLINA, J. DEL TORO]:\nThe City Council will consider sponsoring a screening and panel\ndiscussion of the film "Shepherd: The Story of a Jewish Dog", in\nrecognition of International Holocaust Remembrance Day on\nJanuary 27, 2024, at the City Council Chambers.\nRECOMMENDATIONS: 1) Approve the sponsorship of a film\nscreening and discussion of the film Shepherd: The Story of a\nJewish Dog on January 27, 2024, in the City Council Chambers; 2)\nDirect the Communications Department to utilize all appropriate\ncommunication tools to promote the event, such as the City's\nwebsite and social media tools; and 3) Authorize the Director of\nFinance and Technology Services to allocate $1,500 from budgeted\nfunds in the Special Council Programs Account 100-1-01-00-\n531001 for costs associated with technical support (Waveguide)\nand graphic design for the event.\nSTAFF REPORT
