WATSON]:\nThe City Council will consider directing staff to launch a vaccination\nawareness effort focused on education and promotion of vaccines\nfor flu, RSV, and the updated COVID-19 vaccine.\nRECOMMENDATIONS: 1) Direct Communications Department\nstaff to coordinate a vaccination awareness effort to raise\nawareness about the availability and benefits of vaccinations for flu,\nRSV, and the new COVID-19 vaccine; and 2) Direct the\nCommunications Department to amplify Los Angeles County\nDepartment of Public Health messaging and related public health\nagencies' messaging such as the Centers for Disease Control &\nPrevention regarding staying up to date on vaccines.\nSTAFF REPORT
