5. DISPATCH SERVICES MOU WITH CITY OF MONROVIA - A Memorandum of\nUnderstanding (MOU) between the City and the City of Monrovia for sharing of dispatch\npersonnel is proposed to assist with current dispatch staffing understaffing. The term of the\nagreement is through December 31, 2023, and upon mutual agreement it may be extended\nfor two additional one-year terms.\nRECOMMENDATION: That the City Council approve Resolution No. 23-75, entitled, “A\nRESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LA VERNE, COUNTY OF LOS\nANGELES, STATE OF CALIFORNIA, AUTHORIZING A MEMORANDUM OF\nUNDERSTANDING (MOU) BETWEEN THE CITY OF LA VERNE AND THE CITY OF\nMONROVIA TO FACILITATE THE SHARING OF DISPATCH PERSONNEL FOR\nDISPATCH STAFFING,” and authorize the City Manager to execute the agreement.\nOTHER MATTERS
