APPROVE GRANT AGREEMENT FROM CALIFORNIA OFFICE OF TRAFFIC SAFETY FOR\nTHE “SELECTIVE TRAFFIC ENFORCEMENT PROGRAM” (STEP) 2023-2024, GRANT\nNUMBER PT24009.\nRECOMMENDED ACTION:\nAccept a grant in the amount of $95,000 (for hourly wages at an overtime rate) from the California Office of\nTraffic Safety (OTS) to conduct DUI Saturation Patrols to apprehend drunk drivers, Warrant Service\nOperations and other related programs; and Authorize the Mayor to execute the grant agreement.\nTotal Cost: $95,000 (Grant Acceptance) Is the Cost of this item budgeted?
