6.A. COMMUNITY VACCINATION CLINICS [J. ERICKSON, Y.\nQUARKER, H. MOLINA, M. WATSON]:\nThe City Council will consider directing staff to organize community\nvaccination clinics in West Hollywood in collaboration with the office\nof Los Angeles County Supervisor Lindsey Horvath and the Los\nAngeles County Department of Public Health (DPH).\nRECOMMENDATIONS: 1) Direct staff to work with Supervisor\nLindsey Horvath's office and the Los Angeles County Department of\nPublic Health staff to organize community vaccination clinics so that\nresidents can easily access the newly modified COVID-19 vaccine\nalong with the seasonal flu vaccine; 2) Direct the Communications\nDepartment to promote the availability of these clinics once a date\nand location have been confirmed; and 3) Authorize the Director of\nFinance & Technology Services to allocate $500 from budgeted\nfunds in the Special Council Programs account number 100-1-01-\n00-531001 for costs associated with the event.\nSTAFF REPORT
