6.F. SPONSORSHIP OF SCREENING OF "THE DADS" AND PANEL\nDISCUSSION AS PART OF THE HUMAN RIGHTS SPEAKERS\nSERIES [J. ERICKSON, Y. QUARKER, H. MOLINA, J. DEL\nTORO, J. DUCKWORTH, L. BIERY, R. EHEMANN, J. TRIBBLE]:\nThe City Council will consider sponsoring the screening of the short\nfilm "The Dads" and a panel discussion focused on trans youth as\npart of the Human Rights Speakers Series.\nRECOMMENDATIONS: 1) Approve the sponsorship of the\nscreening of "The Dads" and a panel discussion highlighting trans\nyouth, as part of the Human Rights Speakers Series; 2) Authorize\nthe use of the City name and logo on invitations, programs, and\nother collateral materials for the event; 3) Direct the\nCommunications Department to utilize all appropriate\ncommunication tools to promote the events including, but not\nlimited to, the City's website, a press release, and social media\ntools; and 4) Authorize the Director of Finance and Technology\nServices to approve the use of $1,000 from budgeted funds in the\nSpecial Council Programs account 100-1-01-01-531001 for costs\nassociated with this event.
