5. Award Bids to: Zenner Performance Meters, Inc.; Accurate Measurement Systems; and,\nUnited Water Works for Warehouse Materials\nIt is recommended that the City Council take the following actions:\n1) Award a bid to Zenner Performance Meters, Inc., (Zenner) for the purchase of large\ncold water meters at the per-unit prices bid for a term of three (3) years with an\nextension option for up to two (2) additional years;\n2) Approve a sole source award to Accurate Measurement Systems, Inc., (AMS) for the\npurchase of Krohne Electromagnetic Flow Meters, for a five (5) year term, at the\nmarket prices;\n3) Award a bid to United Water Works (United), for the one time purchase of fire hydrants\nand hydrant guard surge protectors, at the per-unit price bid, in the amount of\n$327,446; and,\n4) Authorize the City Manager, or designees, to approve purchase agreements, and any\nextensions thereto, on behalf of the City.\nAttachments: Staff Report - Warehouse\nAttachment 1 - Sole Source Letter from AMS
