Acceptance and Appropriation of $40,000 in State Certified Local Government (CLG)\nProgram Grant Funds to Develop a Latina/o Historic Context Statement\nIt is recommended that the City Council take the following actions:\n1) Adopt the following resolution:\nRESOLUTION NO. 2023-200 - A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE\nCITY OF POMONA, CALIFORNIA, AUTHORIZING THE ACCEPTANCE OF $40,000\nIN CERTIFIED LOCAL GOVERNMENT (CLG) PROGRAM GRANT FUNDS TO\nDEVELOP A LATINA/O HISTORIC CONTEXT STATEMENT AND AMEND THE FY\n2023-24 OPERATING BUDGET BY INCREASING REVENUE ESTIMATES AND\nAPPROPRIATING $40,000\n2) Authorize the City Manager to execute all agreements and any other documentation\nrequested for acceptance of the award, distribution of the funding and operation of the\nsubsequent agreements, subject to approval as to form by the City Attorney.\nAttachments: CLG 2023 Grant CC Staff Report.docx\nAttachment No. 1 - Resolution 2023-200.docx
