8. Approve a Memorandum of Agreement between the City of Pomona and the San Gabriel\nValley Council of Governments for the Allocation of Funds for “Transit Improvement\nProgram, Gold Line,” Project No. 428-2590-XXXXX-68559\nIt is recommended that the City Council take the following actions:\n1) Approve a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) between the City of Pomona and the\nSan Gabriel Valley Council of Governments (SGVCOG) to allocate $595,000 of funds\nreceived from Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority\n(“LACMTA/METRO”) through the Measure M Multi-Year Subregional Program\n(“MSP”), as well as, up to $1,600,000 of the City’s General Purpose (Prop A\nExchange) Funds for “Transit Improvement Program, Gold Line,” Project No.\n428-2590-XXXXX-68559; and\n2) Authorize the City Manager, or his designee, to execute the proposed MOA between\nthe City of Pomona and the SGVCOG and related documents, subject to approval as\nto form by the City Attorney.\nAttachments: Staff Report\nAttachment No. 1 DRAFT Pomona Cooperative MOA for ESGVSMIP\n(Draft) 11.30.22 (003)rev2\nAttachment No. 2
