35.\nAdopt a Resolution, Approve an Agreement and Appropriation Adjustment\nAccepting the FY 2022 Emergency Management Performance Grant (Non-\nGeneral Fund)\nDepartment(s): Police Department\nRecommended Action:\n1. Adopt a resolution authorizing the City Manager to act on behalf of the\nCity of Santa Ana for obtaining federal funds related to homeland security,\nemergency management and/or disaster recovery, provided by the U.S.\nDepartment of Homeland Security and sub-granted through the State of\nCalifornia and the County of Orange.\nResolution No. 2023-XXX entitled A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY\nCOUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AUTHORIZING THE CITY\nMANAGER OR HER DESIGNEE(S) TO OBTAIN 2022 EMERGENCY\nMANAGEMENT PERFORMANCE GRANT FUNDS THROUGH THE\nCOUNTY OF ORANGE\n2. Authorize the City Manager to execute a two-year agreement with the\nCounty of Orange for the period of July 1, 2022 through June 30, 2024,\nfor the FY 2022 Emergency Management Performance Grant in an\namount not to exceed $52,569, subject to non-substantive changes\napproved by the City Manager and City Attorney(Agreement No. 2023-\nXXX).\n3. Approve an appropriation adjustment recognizing $52,569 in Law\nEnforcement Grants revenue account, and appropriating same to the\nEmergency Management Performance Grant expenditure account.\n(Requires five affirmative votes)
