12. APPROVAL OF COST SHARING AGREEMENT WITH THE LOS ANGELES\nGATEWAY REGION INTEGRATED REGIONAL WATER MANAGEMENT JOINT\nPOWERS AUTHORITY FOR THE INSTALLATION OF MONITORING EQUIPMENT\nAND MONITORING PURSUANT TO THE HARBOR TOXIC POLLUTANTS TOTAL\nMAXIMUM DAILY LOAD (TMDL) (PUBLIC WORKS)\nRECOMMENDATION: It is recommended that the City Council:\n1) Approve the Cost Sharing Agreement with the Los Angeles Gateway Region\nIntegrated Regional Water Management Joint Powers Authority (GWMA) for\nNovember 7, 2023: City Council Meeting Page 6 of 7\nadministration and installation of monitoring equipment and ongoing monitoring\npursuant to the Harbor Toxic Pollutants Total Maximum Daily Load (TMDL); and\n2) Authorize the Mayor to execute the agreement on behalf of the City; and\n3) Take such additional, related, action that may be desirable.
