Approval for Mayor and Mayor Pro Tem to Issue Position Statements Regarding\nthe Award of the County’s Ambulance Contract\nRecommendation:\nAny action is at the discretion of your Honorable City Council. However, staff\nrecommends that the Honorable City Council approve the following actions:\n(1) Take a position which supports an award of the County’s Ambulance Contract;\nand\n(2) Authorize the Mayor and the Mayor Pro Tem to speak at the upcoming County\nBoard of Supervisors meeting in support of the award of the ambulance transport\ncontract to the ConFire Alliance.
