Item 105: Community Project Funding/Congressionally Directed Spending Grant Award for\nDowntown Complete Street Phase 3A2 (B23046).\nTotal Estimated Cost of Proposed Action and Funding Source:\nThe action is requesting approval to accept $3,144,000 Grant Fund-Federal.\nCouncil District(s) Affected: 3.\nProposed Actions:\n(R-2024-156)\nResolution authorizing the Mayor, or his designee, to make applications to the U.S.\nDepartment of Transportation and take all necessary actions to secure funding in an\namount not-to-exceed $3,144,000 in Fund 600000, Grant Fund-Federal, for the\nDowntown Complete Streets project;\nAuthorizing the Chief Financial Officer to increase the Capital Improvement Program\nBudget in CIP A-IA.00001, Bicycle Facilities (B23046, Downtown Complete Streets\nPhase 3A2), and to accept, appropriate and expend an amount not-to-exceed $3,144,000,\nfor the purpose of supporting construction of the Downtown Complete Streets project,\ncontingent upon receipt of a fully executed Grant Agreement if the Grant funding is\nsecured.\nCommittee Actions Taken:\nThis item was heard at the Active Transportation and Infrastructure Committee meeting\non October 20, 2023.\nACTION: Motion by Committee Member Montgomery Steppe, second by Committee\nMember von Wilpert, to recommend Council approval of staff's proposed actions.\nVOTE: 4-0; Lee-yea, LaCava-yea, Montgomery Steppe-yea, von Wilpert-yea.\nTransportation Department: Everett Hauser, (619) 533-3012\nCity Attorney Contact: Ryan P.
