3.8 Award of Contract for the Edwards Street Improvement Project from Westminster\nBoulevard to Trask Avenue - Plan No. P-2583.\nRECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends that the Mayor and City Council:\nA. Approve the award of contract to the lowest and responsible bidder in the amount\nof $676,694 to R.J. Noble Company, Inc. and that all other bids be rejected; and\nB. Authorize a 10% contingency in the amount of $67,669.40 for potential change\norders; and\nC. Authorize the City Manager to execute the contract on behalf of the City, in a form\napproved by the City Attorney.\nEND OF CONSENT CALENDAR
