6G. PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT FOR SPLASH PAD MAINTENANCE\nAs the current contract is set to expire on November 30, 2023, City staff released a\nRequest for Proposal (RFP) soliciting proposals to provide professional splash pad\nmaintenance services at Stanton Central Park and Harry M. Dotson Park. Staff\nrecommends awarding a contract to HASA, Inc. DBA Commercial Aquatic Services.\nRECOMMENDED ACTION:\n1. City Council declare this action to be categorically exempt under the California\nEnvironmental Quality Act, since the action herein does not constitute a “project” as\ndefined by Section 15378 of the CEQA guidelines; and\n2. Award a contract to HASA, Inc. DBA Commercial Aquatic Services to provide\nprofessional splash pad maintenance and repair services for a maximum contract\namount of $10,000 annually, excluding CPI adjustments as provided for in the\nProfessional Services Agreement; and\n3. Authorize the City Manager to bind the City of Stanton and HASA Inc. DBA\nCommercial Aquatics Services in a contract to provide the services; and\n4. Authorize the City Manager to approve a contingency in the amount of $5,000 per\nyear to HASA Inc. DBA Commercial Aquatics Services.\nNovember 14, 2023
