6. AUTHORIZATION TO PURCHASE POLICE DEPARTMENT PATROL RADIOS AND\nAPPROPRIATION OF FUNDS (FUNDING SOURCE: AMERICAN RESCUE PLAN ACT\nFUND)\nRecommendation: Staff recommends that the City Council:\nA. Authorize the City Manager to enter into an agreement with Motorola\nSolution, Inc. in the amount of $210,501.50 for the purchase of twenty\nAPX8500 mobile radios, six APX8000 portable radios, and associated\naccessories;\nB. Authorize the City Manager to enter into an agreement with 10-8 Retrofit,\nInc. for a total of $10,131.09 for the purchase and installation of ten radio\nantennas; and\nC. Appropriate $220,632.59 from the American Rescue Plan Act Fund to\nfully fund the purchase.
