CITY COUNCIL APPEAL OF PLANNING COMMISSION'S ACTION\nADOPTING PC RESOLUTION NO. 23-04 APPROVING CONDITIONAL\nUSE PERMIT NO. 23-03 FOR A SPECIAL EVENT FACILITY (RUSTIC &\nCHIC) LOCATED AT 1703 FLORADALE AVENUE\nCouncilmember's appeal to the Planning Commission decision to adopt\nResolution No. 23-04, which approved Conditional Use Permit No. 23-03\nfor a special event facility (Rustic & Chic) located at 1703 Floradale\nAvenue in the Manufacturing (M) zone.\nRECOMMENDED ACTION: Staff recommends the City Council:\n1. Conduct a public hearing for the appeal;\n2. Take public testimony; and\n3. Discuss the matter after receiving public testimony and decide whether\nor not to agree with or overturn the decision by the Planning\nCommission to grant the CUP. Options available to the City Council\nunder municipal code section 17.74.070 include to affirm, reverse or\nmodify the Planning Commission’s decision; remand the matter to the\ncommission; or continue the matter.
