13. BID & PURCHASE - PURCHASE OF MEMBRANES FROM VEOLIA WATER\nTECHNOLOGIES AND SOLUTIONS\nThat the City Council:\na. Approve the Purchase Order and associated amended terms and conditions with\nVeolia Water Technologies and Solutions for new membrane modules in the\namount of $664,818.\nb. Authorize City Manager, or his designee, to execute the Purchase Order with\nVeolia Water Technologies and Solutions in the amount of $664,818, including\nany non-substantive extensions, change orders, and purchase orders up to the\namount authorized by Corona Municipal Code Section 3.08.080(I), which is\nequivalent to 10% or $66,481.\nc. Authorize an appropriation of $664,818 from the Sewer Utility Fund 572 to the\nUtilities Department operating budget.\nd. Make a determination under Corona Municipal Code Section 3.08.140(B) that\ncompetitive bidding is not required for this purchase based upon the reasons\nprovided in this agenda report.\nAgenda\nThat the Corona Utility Authority review, ratify, and to the extent necessary, direct\nthe City Council to take the above actions.
