16. BID & PURCHASE - PURCHASE OF MULTI-BAND PORTABLE RADIOS FROM\nMOTOROLA SOLUTIONS, INC. UTILIZING THE CITY OF SAN DIEGO, CALIFORNIA\nCONTRACT NUMBER C1837\nThat the City Council:\na. Authorize the City Manager, or his designee, to issue a purchase order to\nMotorola Solutions, Inc. in the amount of $1,737,342 for the purchase of\nmulti-band portable radios and associated radio accessories.\nb. Make a determination under Corona Municipal Code (CMC) Section 3.08.140(c)\nthat competitive bidding has been satisfied based upon the reasons provided in\nthe "Basis for Determination of Competitive Bidding" section of this report.\nc. Authorize the City Manager, or his designee, to negotiate and execute\nnon-substantive extensions, amendments, and change orders up to $ 173,734 or\n10% of the original purchase order amount as provided by the Corona Municipal\nCode (CMC) Section 3.08.060(j).
