4. Request to renew the Police Department jail services contract with\nStarside Security & Investigation Inc.\nIt is recommended that the City Council:\n1. Approve the contract with Starside for jail services, subject to any\nadditional non-substantive changes made by the City Attorney and\nChief Executive Officer; and\n2. Authorize the Mayor to execute the agreement; and\n3. Direct staff to release a Request for Proposal prior to the end or the\nproposed term expiration.
