FIND that the tree removal is categorically exempt under Section 15332,\nClass 32 of the State Environmental Quality Act Guidelines and there is no\nsubstantial evidence the proposed project will have significant effect on the\nenvironment and is in compliance with the California Environmental Quality\nAct (CEQA);\n2. FIND that none of the exceptions to the use of a categorical exemption as\nset forth in Section 15300.2 of the State CEQA Guidelines apply;\n3. SPECIFY that the Bureau of Street Services, Urban Forestry Division,\nlocated at 1149 South Broadway, is custodian of the documents or other\nmaterial that constitute the record of proceedings upon which the Board’s\ndecision is based;\n4. REVIEW AND APPROVE this tree removal permit request for the removal of\nthree London Plane (platanus x hispanica) trees for the construction of two\ndriveway approach aprons and for staging to allow for the installation of a\nDepartment of Water and Power transformer in relation to an executive\ndirective­1, affordable housing project; Tree replacements are required; and\n5. CONCUR with the Bureau of Street Services determination that the site\ncannot feasibly accommodate all of the required replacement trees and\npursuant to LAMC62.177(c), authorize the Tree Replacement Guarantee\nFee to satisfy the Board's tree planting requirement.\nEXECUTIVE OFFICES
