10. State of California Office of Traffic Safety (OTS) 2023-2024 Selective Traffic\nEnforcement Program Grant Funds (STEP)\nThe City Council will consider: (PD)\na. Authorizing utilization of the 2023-2024 Selective Traffic Enforcement Program ("STEP") Grant\nFunds in the amount of $130,000 for overtime, equipment, and training expenses;\nb. Amending the Fiscal Year 2023/24 Law Enforcement Grants Fund Budget by appropriating\n$123,132 for overtime salaries, $2,875 for equipment, and $3,993 for training expenses; and\nc. Authorizing the Chief of Police to execute the STEP Grant Agreement in a form acceptable to\nthe City Attorney.
