3-E. CONSIDERATION OF ADOPTION OF A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE OPEN MARKET\nBOND REPURCHASE OF A PORTION OF THE CITY OF MONTEREY PARK OUTSTANDING\nTAXABLE PENSION OBLIGATION BONDS, SERIES 2021\nIt is recommended that the City Council consider:\n(1) Adopting a Resolution of the City Council of the City of Monterey Park:\na. authorizing the Open Market Bond Repurchase of a Portion of its Outstanding\nTaxable Pension Obligation Bonds, Series 2021;\nb. approving a Repurchase Agent and authorizing the City Manager to execute an\nagreement, in a form approved by the City Attorney, with Samuel A. Ramirez & Co.,\nInc.; and\nc. authorizing certain additional actions in connection therewith.\n(2) Taking such additional, related, action that may be desirable.
