28.\nAdopt a Resolution, Approve a Memorandum of Understanding and\nAppropriation Adjustment Accepting Additional FY 2022 Urban Area Security\nInitiative Grant Program Funds (Non-General Fund)\nDepartment(s): Police Department\nRecommended Action:\n1. Adopt a resolution authorizing and directing the City Manager and the\nChief of Police or their designee(s) to accept an additional $105,000 in\nFY 2022 Urban Area Security Initiative Funding, increasing the sub-\nrecipient award from $1,822,800 to $1,927,800.\nRESOLUTION NO. 2023-XXX entitled A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY\nCOUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA ACCEPTING ADDITIONAL\nFY2022 URBAN AREA SECURITY INITIATIVE SUB-RECIPIENT\nFUNDING AND APPROPRIATION ADJUSTMENT\n​\n2. Approve an Appropriation Adjustment recognizing an additional\n$105,000 in grant revenue from the FY 2022 Urban Area Security\nInitiative funding program revenue account and appropriate same to\nthe FY 2022 Urban Area Security Initiative Program Grant expenditures\naccounts. (Requires five affirmative votes).\n3. Authorize the City Manager and the Chief of Police to execute the\nMemorandum of Understanding with the City of Anaheim for the FY\n2022 Urban Area Security Initiative Grant Program, subject to non-\nsubstantive changes approved by the City Manager and City Attorney\n(Agreement No. 2023-XXX).
