Professional Services Agreements for On-Call Private\nDevelopment Plan Check Services Fiscal Impact: Expense:\n$350,000 Professional Engineering Services (103551-\n6290) Revenue: $350,000 Pass-Through Cost 100%\nCovered by Applicant Plan Check Fees (103551-4399)\nRecommended Action: It is recommended that the City\nCouncil:\n1) Approve a Professional Services Agreement with HR\nGreen Pacific, Inc. for professional consulting services\nto provide on-call private development plan check\nservices for a term of three (3) years with one (1)\ntwo-year term extension based upon performance and\nat the discretion of the City, in an amount not-to-\nexceed $350,000; and\n2) Approve a Professional Services Agreement with NV5,\nInc. for professional consulting services to provide on-\ncall private development plan check services for a\nterm of three (3) years with one (1) two-year term\nextension based upon performance and at the\ndiscretion of the City, in an amount not-to-exceed\n$350,000; and\n3) Approve a Professional Services Agreement with\nBureau Veritas North America, Inc. for professional\nconsulting services to provide on-call private\ndevelopment plan check services for a term of three\n(3) years with one (1) two-year term extension based\nupon performance and at the discretion of the City, in\nan amount not-to-exceed $350,000; and\n4) Authorize the City Administrator to approve any\ncontract term extensions based on performance and\namendments up to 10% of the contract not-to-exceed\namount, or $35,000; and\n5) Authorize the City Administrator to execute the\nabove-mentioned Professional Services Agreements,\nin forms approved by the City Attorney.\nStaff Report\nAgreement with HR Green Pacific, Inc.\nAgreement with NV5, Inc.\nAgreement with Bureau Veritas North America, Inc.
