9.1 GENERAL PLAN AMENDMENT NO. 2023-1 – HOUSING ELEMENT UPDATE 2021-2029:\nA REQUEST TO AMEND THE GENERAL PLAN TO UPDATE THE HOUSING ELEMENT\nTO REFLECT THE 6TH HOUSING CYCLE FROM 2021-2029 AS REQUIRED PURSUANT\nTO STATE LAW - It is recommended the City Council conduct a public hearing as required\nby law; adopt a Negative Declaration as the appropriate environmental document; and\nadopt Resolution No. 23-35 approving General Plan Amendment No. 2023-1 to adopt the\nCity of La Mirada 2021-2029 Housing Element, which represents an update to the 2014-\n2021 Housing Element of the City of La Mirada General Plan, including any additional non-\nsubstantive changes made by the City Manager and City Attorney to respond to comments\nreceived from the Department of Housing and Community Development on the adopted\nHousing Element.\n9.1 Report for Public Hearing\n9.1 Attachments for Public Hearing
