G. ORDINANCE NO. 698 EXTENDING EXISTING DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT\nFOR PROJECT NO. PL-15-149, A PLANNED DEVELOPMENT AND\nDEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT, AND VESTING TENTATIVE PARCEL MAP NO.\n74993 FOR THE ELEGANCE AT SAN GABRIEL ASSISTED LIVING PROJECT\nAT 806-824 SOUTH GLADYS AVENUE VIA ADOPTION OF FIRST\nAMENDMENT TO THE DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT – SECOND READING\nAND ADOPTION\nAdoption of Ordinance No. 698 would extend the term of the Development\nAgreement, Planned Development and Vesting Tentative Parcel Map for the\nElegance Project at 806-824 South Gladys Ave. There is no negative fiscal\nimpact as it relates to this request for extension. Should the extension not be\napproved, this project would most likely not move forward reducing the\npotential property tax revenue for the City.\nCalifornia Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) Determination: The Mitigated\nNegative Declaration adopted in conjunction with the Project remains valid and\nin effect and continues to be the proper and legal environmental document for\nthe Project.\nRecommended Action:\nStaff recommends that the City Council waive the second reading and adopt by\ntitle Ordinance No. 698 entitled, “An Ordinance of the City Council of the City\nof San Gabriel, California, Extending Existing Development Agreement for\nProject No. PL-15-149, a Planned Development and Development Agreement,\nand Vesting Tentative Parcel Map No. 74993 for the Elegance Assisted Living\nProject at 806-824 South Gladys Avenue via Adoption of First Amendment to\nthe Development Agreement.”
