Waive Full Reading and Introduce Ordinance No. 1245 An Ordinance of the City of Brea Transferring and Granting\na Pipeline Franchise to RMX Resources, L.L.C. and Approve CEQA Exemption Determination\n— 1. Waive full reading and introduce Ordinance No. 1245 by title only, and approve a CEQA exemption\ndetermination; and\n— 2. Appropriate any revenues received as part of this franchise in the Fiscal Year 2023-25 Operating Budget;\nand\n— 3. Authorize the City Clerk to release the current faithful performance bond upon acceptance of the new\nfaithful performance bond once notification is received from the Public Works Department. If adopted, the new\nOrdinance franchise fee is estimated to be $3,256 for FY 23-24; therefore, the General Fund will have a positive\nfiscal impact.
