14.e 2023 COPS Hiring Program 129\nStaff Recommendation:\n1. Adopt Resolution CC 2023-118 accepting grant funding from the\nDepartment of Justice Cops Hiring Program for the hiring of four full\ntime police officers;\n2. Increase to the Police Department FY 2023-24 budget in the amount\nof $550,000; and\n3. Authorize the City Manager or his designee to execute the grant\ndocuments on behalf of the City of Covina.
