16. 23-25776 Recommendation to adopt Specification No. ITB FM-23-313 and award a contract\nto South Bay Ford, Inc., of Hawthorne, CA, for the purchase of Ford brand parts\nand repair services, in an annual amount not to exceed $750,000, for a period of\ntwo years, and authorize a 15 percent contingency of $112,500, for a total annual\namount not to exceed $862,500, with the option to renew for three additional one-\nyear periods; and, authorize City Manager, or designee, to execute all documents\nnecessary to enter into the contract, including any necessary subsequent\namendments; and\nIncrease appropriation in the Fleet Services Fund Group in the Financial\nManagement Department by $250,000, offset by funds available generated by\nrevenue collected from user departments through the Fleet Memorandum of\nUnderstanding (MOU).
