14.d Water Main Upgrade - Covina Heights Water Improvement Project– Award of 47\nContract to Gentry Brothers, Inc. for an Amount Not-to-Exceed $2,177,140\nStaff Recommendation:\n1. Approve plans and specifications for the Water Main Upgrade –\nCovina Heights Water Improvement Project;\n2. Award a contract for the Water Main Upgrade – Covina Heights\nWater Improvement Project to Gentry Brothers, Inc. as the lowest\nresponsive bidder in an amount not-to-exceed $2,177,140 and\nauthorize the City Manager to execute the contract; and\n3. Authorize a 10% contingency amount of $217,714 for any unforeseen\nconstruction expenses.
