14. 23-51210 Recommendation to authorize City Manager, or designee, to execute agreements,\nand any necessary documents or subcontracts including any subsequent\namendments to extend contracts to April Parker Foundation, of Long Beach, CA,\nCentro CHA, of Long Beach, CA, United Cambodian Community, of Long Beach,\nCA, and RightSource Services, of Signal Hill, CA, for business navigation services,\nin a total aggregate amount not to exceed $821,152, for a term ending September\n30, 2025;\nAuthorize City Manager, or designee, to execute an agreement, and any necessary\ndocuments or subcontracts including any subsequent amendments extending the\ngrant term or changing the amount of the award, with the Governor’s Office of\nBusiness and Economic Development (Go-Biz), to accept grant funding in an\namount of $281,152, in Fiscal Year (FY) 23-24 Local Immigrant Integration and\nInclusion Grant (LIIIG) grant funds, to expand program services under the Inclusive\nBusiness Navigators Program to immigrant entrepreneurs, for the period of October\n1, 2023 to September 30, 2025; and\nIncrease appropriations in the Business Assistance Fund Group in the Economic\nDevelopment Department by $330,152, offset by a combination of grant revenue\nand a transfer of funds from the General Fund Group in the Health Department.\n(Citywide)\nOffice or Department: Economic Development\nSuggested Action: Approve recommendation.
