8. Approval of a Design Services Agreement, Utility Relocation Reimbursement\nAgreements, and Amendment to Engineering Services Agreement to Complete\nFinal Engineering and Permitting for the San Fernando Bikeway Project; and\nApproval of the Landscape Engineering Services Agreement for the San\nFernando Bikeway and Metro Railroad Landscaping Project – Community\nDevelopment Department\n1. Approve the following agreements and findings related to final design and\npermitting for the San Fernando Bikeway Project, and authorize the\nCommunity Development Director, as the City Manager’s designee, to\nexecute such Agreements and any necessary amendments thereto:\n12/1/23, 2:22 PM City Council Meeting - Joint Meeting with Successor Agency and Housing Authority\na. Design Services Agreement with the Southern California Regional\nRail Authority,\nb. Utility Relocation Reimbursement Agreement with Sprint\nCommunications Company LP, finding that it is in the best interest of\nthe City and necessary for completion of the San Fernando Bikeway\nProject to allow Sprint Communications Company LP to complete\nthis work on their facilities,\nc. Utility Relocation Reimbursement Agreement with Plains All-\nAmerican Pipeline, finding that it is in the best interest of the City\nand necessary for completion of the San Fernando Bikeway Project\nto allow Plains All-American Pipeline to complete this work on their\nfacilities, and\nd. Amendment Ten to Engineering Services Agreement with Kimley-\nHorn and Associates, Inc. for additional final project design services.\n2. Approve the Engineering Services Agreement with Kimley-Horn and\nAssociates, Inc. for landscape design services for the San Fernando\nBikeway and Metro Railroad Landscaping Project, and authorize the\nCommunity Development Director, as the City Manager’s designee, to\nexecute such Agreement and any necessary amendments thereto, and\nfinding that it is in the best interests of the City to award this Agreement on\na sole-source basis.
