24. Request by Councilmember Robinson and Councilmember Weiss that staff develop a policy for the\ndisplay of flags on City flagpoles and City buildings. The policy shall provide for the honorable\ndisplay of the Flag of the United States, the State of California, and the City of Oceanside.\nAdditionally, the POW/MIA Flag shall be permitted at the main flagpole at the City Hall complex.\nFlags dedicated for the purpose of mourning the loss of police officers, firefighters and lifeguards\nshall also be permitted to be flown on public safety facilities, at the direction of the City Manager\nGENERAL COUNCILMEMBER COMMENTS
