4-A. CONSIDERATION AND POSSIBLE ACTION TO ADOPT ORDINANCES ESTABLISHING\nWATER AND WASTEWATER (SEWER) RATES\nIt is recommended that the City Council consider:\n(1) Opening the public hearing;\n(2) Receiving all written and verbal testimony regarding the proposed rate increases;\n(3) Determining whether there is a majority protest against the proposed rate increases;\n(4) If no majority protest exists, that the City Council introduce and waive first reading of\nOrdinance No. – Setting the amount of Water Rates and Charges (Attachment 1);\n(5) If no majority protest exists, that the City Council introduce and waive first reading of\nOrdinance No. – Setting the amount of Wastewater (Sewer) Rates and Charges\n(Attachment 2); and\n(6) Taking such additional, related, action that may be desirable.
