ACCEPT DONATION: ALHAMBRA CIVIC CENTER LIBRARY – F2M23-12, M2M23-205\nStaff requests that the City Council accept the gift of $10,000 from the Alhambra Public\nLibrary Foundation to be used to support the purchase of materials to be circulated via the\nEmery Park book locker and vending machine. The funds will be utilized to purchase\nbooks and materials in the three primary community languages for circulation. The book\nlocker and vending machine will be purchased with grant funds from the State of California.\nRecommended Action: City Council accept a $10,000 donation from the Alhambra\nPublic Library Foundation to support the purchase of materials to be circulated via the\nEmery Park book locker and vending machine; appropriate revenue and expenditure\nfunds in the amount of $10,000; and, direct staff to undertake the steps necessary to\nfinalize Council’s action.
