SELECTION OF THE CITY’S NEW LOGO, BRANDING AND MESSAGING\nThe purpose of this report is to review outreach results and seek City Council selection\nof a logo and motto as part of the next phase of the City's Branding & Messaging\nProject.\nRECOMMENDED ACTION:\n1. City Council declare this project to be categorically exempt under the California\nEnvironmental Quality Act, Section 15378(b)(5) (Organizational or administrative\nactivities of governments that will not result in direct or indirect physical changes in\nthe environment); and\n2. Select a logo and motto to move forward with the next phase of the branding and\nmessaging project.
